Year 5 students across the Trust have been working hard to complete their competition entries for this year’s Griffin Arts Festival.
Students received a brief for this year’s Griffin Arts Festival Competition, which was open to all Year 5 students and 10 lucky winners from each school will win the exciting opportunity to experience the best arts London has to offer.
This year has proved very hard to judge the final 10, as the students have produced some amazing entries. Students were able to work in any art form to create a final piece linking to this year’s theme, ‘Our journey’. We have an amazing range of works to choose from, including: music compositions, dance performances, paintings, sculptures, and animations.
This year students were encouraged to develop their idea from various starting points and to work more independently. We have been so impressed by the students’ independence and ability to take on this advanced way of working that we have decided to showcase all the entries and celebrate their success with a pop-up exhibition in Willow Brook Primary; the home of GAF.
